Major League Lacrosse hopes all-star game here will lead to Palm Beach County franchise

Major League Lacrosse doesn’t have a team within 650 miles of Palm Beach County, but is having its all-star game in Boca Raton this weekend. Commissioner David Gross doesn’t hide his motivation for putting the game here.

“We’re playing this all-star game as a test run,” he said. “If things go well, hopefully we can have a team in South Florida in the next few years.” [More]
