The FHSAA released its final district classifications for several sports, including baseball and softball, Thursday.
The organization moved the largest schools in the area, with student populations of 2,407-4,492, from Class 8A to 9A. The new District 9-9A will consist of John I. Leonard, Jupiter, Palm Beach Central and Palm Beach Gardens, with Boca Raton, Lake Worth, Park Vista and Santaluces moving to District 10-9A.
Three schools, Seminole Ridge, Spanish River and Wellington, remain in Class 8A with new additions Forest Hill, Palm Beach Lakes and Royal Palm Beach.

American Heritage — Nick Rubinowicz. An All-Area First Team punter/kicker for the Stallions’ football team, he also maintained a 4.81 honors-point average and earned an AP Scholar with Honor award. He will play football at the University of Maryland.
Benjamin — Savannah Logan. A multi-sport athlete who set a school record by earning 19 varsity letters, she also was a member of the National Honor Society and Cum Laude Society, maintained a 4.09 honors-point average, and took nine advanced placement courses. She will play volleyball at Rider University.
