Palm Beach Post 2015 All-Academic teams

American Heritage — Nick Rubinowicz. An All-Area First Team punter/kicker for the Stallions’ football team, he also maintained a 4.81 honors-point average and earned an AP Scholar with Honor award. He will play football at the University of Maryland.

Benjamin — Savannah Logan. A multi-sport athlete who set a school record by earning 19 varsity letters, she also was a member of the National Honor Society and Cum Laude Society, maintained a 4.09 honors-point average, and took nine advanced placement courses. She will play volleyball at Rider University.

Boys Volleyball: 2015 Palm Beach Classic set to begin Friday

With the boys volleyball postseason still a few weeks away, the Palm Beach Classic tournament will give fans a glimpse at what the playoffs might look like.

The Palm Beach Classic begins Friday. The two-day tourney will feature 11 teams from Palm Beach County and two out-of-area teams, and it will be played at Park Vista, John I. Leonard and Royal Palm Beach. [More]

Girls volleyball: FHSAA announces tentative district realignment

The Florida High School Athletic Association released new tentative district assignments for girls volleyball on Friday.

It’s important to keep in mind that the new district assignments will be for the next four seasons. Appeals from schools are due to the FHSAA by Feb. 11.
