Palm Beach County knows only one season: football season.
Spring practices are in full swing and area football teams are gearing up for their spring games at the end of this month. Here are the details and a preview of what’s to come.

Baseball season and rainy season decided to hit Palm Beach County at the same time.
Friday’s games at the season-opening Santaluces Slam have been postponed, Santaluces coach Nick Franco said.
Rain forced the postponement of Thursday’s games at the eight-team tournament, pushing them to Friday. With those games now being play Saturday, the tournament will forgo its finals.
The tournament will now conclude Saturday. The schedule is:
Field 3: Atlantic vs. Trinity Christian
Field 4: American Heritage vs. King’s Academy
Field 3: Palm Beach Central vs. Summit Christian
Field 4: Jupiter vs. Santaluces
