Grandview Prep center Ismaila Dauda to go to prep school for a year

Dwyer boys’ basketball ranked first in Florida coaches’ rankings

The Florida Association of Basketball Coaches released its state power index for boys’ basketball on Wednesday. After a strong nondistrict and holiday tournament season, Dwyer is ranked first in the All-Classes Top 25. Grandview Prep is ranked 22nd.

Boys’ basketball: Wellington holiday tournament schedule released

Spanish River, Seminole Ridge, Royal Palm Beach, Boynton Beach and Martin County are the area teams participating in Wellington’s holiday tournament. Coral Springs and Orlando-Colonial will also play in the eight-team tournament.
