Stat Tuesday: No clear leaders in baseball Player of the Year races

Palm Beach Central streaking, gets two more big wins Saturday

Palm Beach Central’s baseball team started the season 1-3 but has won six straight including a pair of big wins on Saturday over Timber Creek from Orlando and district opponent Park Vista. The more dramatic of the two came earlier in the day when the Broncos were down 7-0 to Timber Creek, then 10-3, then scored 10 runs in the sixth inning – including a grand slam from Alex Hernandez – to win 13-10. A few hours later, they dominated Park Vista 8-2.

So how did the Broncos have enough to beat Park Vista after that monstrous effort against Timber Creek?
