Former American Heritage OL Roderick Johnson’s football career cut short

Roderick Johnson’s football career has come to an end.

The former American Heritage standout offensive lineman has been diagnosed with congenital cervical stenosis, which is the narrowing of the spinal canal of the neck that prevents enough fluid to gather around the spinal cord to properly protect it from injury. Palm Beach Gardens grad JJ Schwarz makes history with Florida Gators

It’s safe to say that JJ Schwarz is having a pretty good freshman season with the Florida Gators.

The Palm Beach Gardens grad became the first Gator in school history with four home runs in a game in a 22-2 victory over Stetson on Tuesday. Schwarz finished the contest with five hits in six at-bats and a career-high 10 RBIs. [More]

Recruiting: Royal Palm Beach OT Fredrick Johnson commits to Florida Gators

The Florida Gators’ 2015 recruiting class is starting to take shape.

Entering the weekend, the class was ranked 78th in the country behind schools like Florida Atlantic, Temple and Western Michigan, according to 247Sports.

But Royal Palm Beach offensive tackle Fredrick Johnson improved that ranking with his decision, committing to the Gators during his official visit to Florida on Saturday night. [More]
