Bill allowing athletes to transfer freely passes Florida Senate committee

A bill allowing high school students to attend any school in Florida passed unanimously through the Florida Senate’s Appropriations Subcommittee on Education on Tuesday.

The bill (SB 0684) would allow athletes to play immediately for schools they attend, as long as the team has not reached the limit allowed by the Florida High School Athletic Association.
