Dwyer boys’ basketball coach Fred Ross was named the Florida Dairy Farmers Coach of the Year Monday.

BETHESDA, Md. — Dwyer basketball gets to play two basketball player factories in two days. Yesterday, the Panthers beat Nevada’s Findlay Prep 70-61.
Now, in the ESPN Rise National High School Invitational semifinals, Dwyer faces Virginia’s Oak Hill Academy.

Before the season started, Dwyer coach Fred Ross pointed out his senior captain Darick Jarmon.
“He won’t get any headlines, he won’t be the big star, but he’s our guy,” Ross said back in December. “He makes everybody better.”
