LAKELAND — I’ve seen Dwyer play a solid 10 times this year, and none of the opponents I saw pushed the Panthers the way Lake Wales did on Saturday in the Class 5A finals (read more on the game here). And Dwyer still won by 15.

LAKELAND — We could use a bunch of words to describe Dwyer’s 83-58 win over Fort Walton Beach in the Class 5A semifinals. Dominant. Overwhelming. Absolute.

Lakeland’s the next stop for three area teams: Grandview Prep, Summit Christian and Dwyer. All three are making return trips to the state semifinals, where they each lost a year ago. Will this year produce better results?
