Boys basketball: Former RPB guard Jon Octeus leaving Colo. State, considering three other schools

Former Royal Palm Beach High School boys basketball standout Jon Octeus will transfer from Colorado State for his final season of college eligibility and is considering Missouri, Cincinnati and UCLA, his high school coach, Drew Quinn, confirmed Wednesday.

Royal Palm Beach point guard Jon Octeus signs with Garden City CC

Royal Palm Beach senior 6-foot-4 point guard Jon Octeus has signed a scholarship with Garden City (KS) Community College. Octeus averaged 14.5 ppg, 5.2 rpg, and 3.1 apg this past season in leading the Wildcats to the most successful season is school history (18-8).

Octeus, who also was president of his senior class, plans to major in pharmacy.
