Week 7 saw most of the top teams in the area cruise to victory, but a shakeup is in order at the end of the top 10 this week.
Big wins were the theme for much of the top 10. No. 1 Atlantic, No. 3 Oxbridge, No. 4 Boca Raton, No. 5 American Heritage and No. 6 Pahokee won by an average of 31 points. The lone close game for a top-5 team was No. 2 Dwyer’s one-score victory over No. 8 Wellington. As such, the top of the top 10 stays the same, which cannot be said for the bottom [More]

Week 5 seemed to be the week of the blowout. Only six area games were settled by a touchdown or less, with 14 having a score differential of 10 points or more.
The top five teams all took care of business Friday night, winning by an average of more than 23 points. No. 5 Boca Raton won by the biggest margin, defeating Santaluces 41 points while shutting out the Chiefs. In this week’s premier game, No. 5 Glades Central traveled to Delray Beach again and fell to a top-5 team for the second week in a row. In a game that was close until the last part of the fourth quarter, the top-ranked Eagles won 26-7. Elsewhere in the top 10, blowouts were the theme. No. 2 Dwyer defeated Palm Beach Lakes 41-6, No. 4 Pahokee beat Crescent City 47-7 and No. 7 Wellington defeated Palm Beach Central [More]
