Park Vista winning streak reaches 10 games, ace Brad Gero on fire

Park Vista has come a long way since that double header on March 13 when the Cobras struck out 20 times and committed 11 errors against Parkland Douglas and Palm Beach Central. They haven’t lost a game since.

Park Vista looking to make changes after disastrous doubleheader

Park Vista baseball coach Larry Greenstein said Saturday was the worst day in the six-year history of Cobra baseball. And after losing to Parkland Douglas 14-8 and following that up with an 8-2 loss to Palm Beach Central, Greenstein thinks it’s time to make some changes.

“We’re not going to throw in the towel but we’ll probably need to make some adjustments,” Greenstein said. “Batting order and maybe some different guys getting an opportunity to perform and see what they can do. We’ve pretty much hung with the same lineup for the most part. We just have to shake it up a little bit and see what the missing piece of the puzzle is. What are we missing and what can we put in to maybe help our chances? Right now it’s tough to say and you really won’t know unless you try it and see if it works.”
