Park Vista is heading toward the No. 1 spot.

The Cobras moved up to No. 2 in the latest version of the MaxPreps Xcellent 50 National Baseball Rankings released Monday. Park Vista is on a three-game winning streak, as it enters a matchup with Miami-Columbus in a Class 8A state semifinal on Wednesday in Fort Myers. [More]

As the summer nears, two Palm Beach County high school baseball teams are still playing.

Park Vista and Royal Palm Beach will represent the county in this year’s state baseball tournament. The state tournament will be played at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers. [More]

Boca Raton beat Park Vista to win the District 10-8A title last week, but it wasn’t enough for the Bobcats to leap over the Cobras in the latest MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Baseball Rankings released on Monday.

Park Vista fell three spots to No. 5 and Boca Raton jumped up one spot to No. 14. Even after the loss, the Cobras still lead the season series with the Bobcats 2-1. [More]

As the postseason begins, two Palm Beach County teams playing in the same district tournament are nationally ranked.

Park Vista (No. 2) and Boca Raton (No. 15) held steady in the latest MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Baseball Rankings released on Monday. Both teams are currently playing in the District 10-8A tournament with a possible matchup in the final Thursday. [More]

How good is Palm Beach County’s high school baseball?

Two teams from the county are part of the latest MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Baseball Rankings released on Tuesday.

Park Vista stayed at No. 2 in the rankings for the second consecutive week. The Cobras have won 22 straight and will enter next week’s District 10-8A tournament as the top seed. [More]

Park Vista continues to creep up toward the top spot.

The Cobras jumped from No. 3 to No. 2 in the latest MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Baseball Rankings released on Tuesday. Since falling to Coral Springs-Taravella in the season opener, Park Vista has won 20 straight, including a win over a strong American Heritage team on Monday. [More]

Boca Raton baseball team joins Park Vista in national poll

Not all losses are bad losses.

Boca Raton has learned that, as the Bobcats made their first appearance in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Baseball Rankings on Tuesday. Despite falling to nationally ranked Park Vista for the second time this season last week, Boca cracked the list at No. 13.

The Bobcats join Park Vista in the rankings with the Cobras staying at No. 3. Both teams are part of District 10-8A, which should make for an interesting district tournament. [More]

Park Vista is living up to expectations.

The Cobras entered the season with high expectations and they have met them so far. Park Vista hasn’t dropped a game since falling to Coral-Springs-Taravella in the season opener. Since then, the Cobras have outscored opponents by a combined score of 103-22 to stay at No. 1.
