Tale of the Tape: Heritage’s Devin Singletary vs. Oxbridge’s Travis Homer

Friday night’s Palm Beach County tilt between Oxbridge Academy and American Heritage is more than just a matchup of two nationally ranked sides.

It will also highlight two of the county’s top running backs in Travis Homer of Oxbridge and Heritage’s Devin Singletary.

Though the two seniors won’t directly line up against one another, it’d be fitting to look at the two star backs like two boxers sizing each other up before a big fight. So without further ado, here’s our tale of the tape.

Several members of Miami’s 2016 recruiting class got a chance to compete against each other Sunday at the South Florida Shootout.

The day-long, 48-team, 7-on-7 event hosted by UM was also an opportunity for Wellington receiver Ahmmon Richards to meet St. Thomas Aquinas counterpart Sam Bruce, for linebackers Greg Simmons (Fort Pierce Central) and Zach McCloud (Santaluces) to hang with Shaq Quarterman, who made the trip down from the Orlando area even though his team, Oakleaf High, wasn’t involved.
