American Heritage is the top-rated team in Class 3A after a week’s worth of football, according to the state Associated Press rankings, which are voted by high school football writers from around Florida.


Former Palm Beach Gardens RB Roshard Burney to play at Garden City CC

He had a breakout senior season and it paid off. Roshard Burney signed with Big 12-bound West Virginia after running for 2,000 yards and 19 touchdowns and helping Gardens reach the Class 8A regional finals.


FAU: No high school football games at FAU Stadium this year

The high school football tripleheader planned for Sept. 8 at FAU Stadium was never as close to happening as promoter Billy Fleming led Palm Beach County football fans to believe, an FAU administrator explained to area coaches and athletic directors in a Saturday e-mail obtained by the Post.


FAU, promotions company close to contract deal to host three high school games
