Palm Beach Gardens’ Brittany Ewing headed to Villanova, Comfort Ahonkhai going to Drexel

A pair of Palm Beach Gardens softball players signed letters of intent on Thursday. Shortstop Brittany Ewing signed with Villanova and outfielder Comfort Ahonkhai signed with Drexel.

Ewing is versatile defensively and athletic, while Ahonkhai is also athletic and has good speed. Coach Randy Jackson said Ahonkhai recently became a strong slap hitter and both are going to have big roles for the Gators this season.
