Palm Beach Central’s football team canceled practice Tuesday afternoon after the school was evacuated due to a bomb threat made against the school earlier in the day.
“(They are) just getting kids on the campus evacuated, that’s all I know,” coach Tino Ierulli said.
Palm Beach Central, which has not won a game this season, plays winless Jupiter on Thursday.
“Obviously,the kids’ safety and stuff is first and foremost,” Ierulli said. “We pretty much know exactly what the game plan is going into Thursday night.”

Several top volleyball teams fell in Week 3, taking their first loss or more.
Boca Raton stays at No. 1 despite dropping its first game of the season, while Atlantic — the only undefeated team left in the Top 2 — moves to No. 2. Oxbridge Academy jumps to No. 4, and John I. Leonard moves up to No. 6. In Wellington, the Wolverines drop to No. 9 after losing three of their last four games.
New to the top 10 are American Heritage and Seminole Ridge, which enter at Nos. 8 and 10, respectively.

Jupiter maintained its No. 1 spot after earning a pair of wins last week.
The Warriors beat Dwyer and Martin County to move to 21-1 on the season. The next four spots in the Post Top 10 remained the same, with Palm Beach Gardens occupying the No. 2 spot followed by Boca Raton, Park Vista and Wellington. Benjamin, Suncoast, Atlantic, Pope John Paul and Seminole Ridge round out the top 10.
