Palm Beach Lakes’ Eddie Lovett headed to Florida on a track scholarship

Fresh off setting a new state record in the 110 hurdles, Palm Beach Lakes senior Eddie Lovett has signed a track scholarship with the University of Florida. Lovett had been talking to the University of South Florida during the season but Florida came on strong right after the regional meet. He also had interest from Louisiana State and South Carolina.

Suncoast’s Tony McQuay headed to Florida

The whirlwind that was track star Tony McQuay’s road to college finally seems to be settling. McQuay just informed me via text that he is going to the University of Florida on a track scholarship.
