Boynton Beach junior Kevin (C.J.) Wilson, who Friday night was airlifted from a game at Wellington High after suffering a neck injury, was to be released from the hospital Saturday, said a Wilson family friend asked by the family to speak to the media. [More]

Baseball: Wellington 3B Peter Rivera commits to Miami

Wellington High third baseman Peter Rivera committed to the Miami Hurricanes, coach Scott Riddle said.

Rivera (5-10, 190) has a power bat and plays strong defense at third. Last year in his junior season, Rivera had a team-high four homers and drove in 20 runs.

Wellington Christian diving program is no more, girls soccer may be added

Softball: Gardens’ Kaylie Wallace wins Class 6A player of the year

Palm Beach Gardens ace pitcher Kaylie Wallace has stacked up a pretty impressive haul of awards. She’s added the Miracle Sports Class 6A Player of the Year award to the pile.
